Eye bags, Eye bags.. Why do most of us suffer from eye bags every once in awhile?
Right before an exciting date, an important meeting, before a night out with the girls, the list goes on..

Get enough Sleep
Sleeping is the process needed for humans to rest and repair ourselves and doctors have always advised to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a day, for a reason.
Staying up late to put the kids to bed? Sometimes it helps to ask your husband to help you do that instead. Working on shift? Try asking your boss if you could work less days on shift.
Sleeping late? It may not be easy but it is important to try to sleep earlier and get up earlier, hence the saying 'early to bed early to rise, makes a man ( or woman ) healthy and wise'.
Cucumbers
You may have heard that cucumbers are good solutions for eye bags.
Well, it is not the cucumbers that heal, but the cold temperature from the cucumber that you just took out from the fridge that is the one that helps soothe your eyebags. Cucumbers are perfect candidates for this solely because of it's size and shape. Cut 2 small thin slices of it and wrap it over your eyes, lying down, and covering the whole of the eye, with your eyes closed of course. You can use this remedy for 5 minutes a day, or when dark circles or eye bags appear before that all important date :)
*Tip: Take care not to let the juice of the cucumbers seep into your eyes as this could cause irritations for some.
Take good care of your Skin
As skin around the eyes is also related to skin on your face, taking good and proper care of your skin is important to our beauty and health regime!
Try to always cleanse your skin, twice a day morning and night, with mild soap and a good moisturizer after. This will help to keep your skin clean and fresh throughout the day.
Eat Healhy Food and Vegetables for Good Skin
Vitamin K has been known to get rid of ugly dark circles and eye bags. This natural vitamin can be found in vegetables and yoghurt. That's why Mom says "Eat your veggies!"
Not only that, fruits and veggies help maintain good eyes and eyesight :)
